Tell me how this sounds......

Hey guys. I'm looking to get a little bit of performance out of my 700r4 and beef it up a little before i drop in my 350. I want some firmer shifts, and that "seat of the pants" feel...tell me what you think

transgo shift kit
billet servo
and a B&M Mega Shifter

thanx

Skip the Billet Servo. At least .422 TV Boost Valve. Definately the TransGo. The shifter if you really think you need one (is yours worn out?)

Just as Anna Nicole Smith is too much so is the Billet Servo. While it can give more apply force for the 1-2 it also creates more bind up (thus the firmer shift) on the 2-3. This is not a good thing.

The Boost valve has the final say in how much pressure goes up in relation to throttle position. You may have the .422 but then you might have the smaller one too. It can be replaced in the car by dropping the pan. There are also larger boost valves than that but that is what TransGo recommends to be used with a small block. If you really build it up then go with the bigger valve but you can go too far there too.
