why are T5s so hard to stab to the clutch?

why are T5s so hard to stab to the clutch?
I never can seem to get it to stab right up. Even when someone presses on the clutch, the trans will not drop in sometimes. The trans even moves when you let off on the clutch and the release goes back. Its like the throwout is hanging on the input bearing support.
