Vette Servo in 700R4

I am wondering, is a vette servo worth the $50-$100 to have it installed?

How would you know if you had one already or not.

You can do the work yourself and just pay for the part. It will have a number cast into the Servo itself that ends with '093'.

A corvette servo fixed a problem with mine not shifting fast enough on the 2-3. It didn't finish the shift until 5200 rpm. With the servo it finished the shift by 5000 rpm.
I'd have a tranny specialist do it.
