Re: super t-10

Stronger than a T5? Yes. Stronger than a T56? Doubt it. The Super T-10 is an aluminum cased 4 speed that GM started using in the early 70s as a replacement for the M20, M21, and M22 Muncie 4 speeds. The Super T10 is a tough 4 speed, but it lacks overdrive, which is why GM eventually switched over to the T5 and then later the T56.

Liberty and other can build a Super T10 to live behind serious power. I know a guy who runs one in an early Nova that runs in the high 10s with no breakage problems.

Re: super t-10

how does the super t-10 clear the torque arm? Looks like the linkage and shifter will not clear the torque arm mount, at least if you run the heim joint linkages
