Transmission: TH700R4/Vigilante

Axle/Gears: D44/3.45

Will the T5 become damaged if.....

Im rebuilding a 1978 350 ENGINE TO PUT INTO MY 82...im lookin to put a T5 with this..but i know T5s never were available with 350s my question is Will the T5 become damaged behind a 350 due to the torque of it ?
Thank you guys help me please
Which Manual Tranny should i pick for a 350?

Oh i forgot..my 350 is about 170 hp in stock form and as i remember 245 of torque ...i ve heard the T5 can carry 330 of torque...so will i have no problem ?

Shouldn't be any problem behind that motor at all. There are lots of guys running T5's behind some pretty stout engines without any problems. Personally, I had the T5 from my 2.8 V6 in my '84 hooked up to a rebuilt 350 for a few years and it never gave me a single problem.
