Torque Converter

What kind is good and street legal for a 700-r4 tranny....? And about how much does it cost???

Street legal? Hmmm. Anyhow, here is a number for a quality converter that is good for stock to somewhat modified engines: GM #24202310 and I think it ran me @$207 from a local dealer. It is rated at 2025 RPM stall but with more mods it will move up into the 21-2200 range. Since a stock 700 in an IROC has a 1397 RPM stall converter it is a nice change.

Transmission: T56
Axle/Gears: 3.73
trans, any problems with driveability using that converter? If I were to keep my auto Iwould loveto upgrade converters... but what about driveability around town or using OD on thehighway.... if your the stall speed on the highway whatproblems does that give?
