2 700r4's to choose from which is better? Also one of them may be already built.

2 700r4's to choose from which is better? Also one of them may be already built.
Im working on phase 2 of my project this winter and I am going to put in a 700r4 and remove the turbo 350 from my bird because im going to be runnning a 3:42 posi rear instead of the 2:73 and this is my daily driver durring the summer. I have two 700r4's one that was in my camaro and one that came out of a security car " 88/89 caprice 4.3" this may have been an actual police car and might have all the goodies inside of it. How can I tell? Which is better? Did the 4.3 police cars come with the special goodies or no?
Also im undecided with engines Im considering a 327 that will be putting out 300+ hp at the flywheel or a 280ish hp 350. So if any of you could give me some advice as to what I might want to reinforce in the tranny It would be appreciated! "this car only goes to the track once a year" and avrages 3 runs other than that it will not see more than 5k max once in a while.

85 Camaro, 355/400 "drag car" in moth ***** 13.1@ 101mph on its last season run.
Plans: Possibly add N20 for next season.
82 Firebird, 305/350 currently moth balled.
Current plans: Rebuild 305 with flat tops instead of the dished "cups" for pistons or slightly built 327 with the 58cc heads from the LG4, Upgrade the 2:73 to 3:73 or 3:42 and replace the turbo 350 with 700r4.
