This question keeps popping up, so I thought I'd post it in one message.

12101899: VSS sender
12101857: Reverse Lockout solenoid
12101857: Skip Shift solenoid

The reverse light switch is a standard two-socket weatherpack; if you are swapping from a five speed the stock plug will work. If you are swapping from an automatic, you can pick one up at any Pep Boys among other places.

is the VSS plug all that I need to hook up an autometer electric speedo? I have an 89 IROC that I put a T56 in a month ago, and I am getting phantom gauges, so I was just wondering if I need a sending unit or just the plug and speedo.

Thanks
Tim

The sending unit is in the tranny, so once you get the plug you will have a VSS signal. Whether it will be compatible with your aftermarket gauge I don't know.

I'm using a stock 91 speedometer and it requires a converter box. I'm going to use the SGI-5 from Dakota Digital.

The dakota digital box works good, once you figure it out. If you have any questions, let me know, just got mine hooked up over the weekend.

I think I'll worry about getting my clutch to work before I mess with the dakota digital box.
