Speedo calibration questions
Just got my new gears and posi installed. My mechanic said that since my car has an electronic speedo that I don't need to swap the speed gears. I thought that was the case on only the 4th gens. Anyways, by noting my speed in different gears at the same rpm, he appears to be right. However, I'm not exactly sure what the T-5 gears are supposed to be.
Has anyone done this before and could share their knowledge?
What exactly are the tranny gear ratios on a stock T-5 for the LO3?

I do believe that I need to change the gears. But I drove it around today and compared speedometer readings @ 2000rpm in different gears. The speedo readings are exactly where they are supposed to be (at least according to the F-body,org program).
Could it be possible that even though the speedometer is showing me the right speed the cars actual speed could still be off?

I guess I'll answer my own question.
It appears my trip & odometer readings are about 1 tenth of a mile off (faster). Even though my guages appear to be correct the car is actually moving at 90% of its reported speed. Wheres a radar/speed display when you need one? This is the same % difference between my old and current gear ratio. I guess I will put that on my things to do list.
