Sludge in pan

Ok, I just got this 86 T/A with a 700r4. It got delivered to me on a trailer, so I never drove it till yesterday. It has been sitting for 2 years, so I went to drive it around the block and it shifted once into 2nd, then I came to a stop sign and it would not shift again.
Tonight I took the tranny pan down and the fluid is brown and there is alot of SLUDGE on the bottom of the pan. What do I do now?
