I've have a 12 bolt Posi Rear end from a 1971 El Camino. I'm going to go look at a 1992 3.1 RS Camaro and hopefully buy, and I'd like to know if this rear end will fit under the camaro.

 

It's a 12 bolt, not a 12 inch. This rear end will not fit the Camaro without major modifications. This is the same as a Chevelle rear end and is worth some money as it is. If you cut and modify it to fit a Camaro then it is worth much less. I recommend selling it (www.chevelles.com) and getting the correct rear end for the Camaro. Moser makes a very good 12 bolt that will bolt into this car with no modifications.
