My trans doesnt want to shift into second unless it revs pretty high. It doesnt slip, just waits too long to shift. 3rd and 4th seem fine. The fluid is full, and clean. any advice?

It could be the governor. It is on the side of the tranny, its this thing you can pull out without taking the whole tranny out. There is this cap on the driver side, open it up and slide it out. Its this cylindrical thing with weights in it and the end has a green or blue gear on it. That gear could be worn some or the weights are not moving correctly. This is what was wrong with mine when it would shift late.
