Engine: 355/195AFR/SR/219CAM/1.6
Transmission: TH700R4/Vigilante
Axle/Gears: D44/3.45
From 3.08 to 2.73 s

I have a 350 with a TH 350 on its way ...with a 3.08 rear ....i Broke my rear and i have set of 2.73 s what will be the effects if i change from 3.08 to 2.73 ?

not a whole lot, that's only a .35 decrease. If you don't have a posi, your car should run better times with the 2.73's. If you have a posi, you're probably not going to have a problem with traction with the 2.73's, but your engine will want to get out of the gears quicker then the rear will let it. Posi cars really shouldn't have any gear numerically lower then a 3.23, because when I swapped my 2.73's for 3.23's, my gas mileage DID NOT change, even on the highway.
