aluminum driveshaft

what do you guys think about an aluminum driveshaft. apparently it shaves a few pounds off your cars overall weight

Not only do they shave a few pounds off you weight, they are lighter and easier to turn than stock steel? ones. I'm not a tranny guy but I think your tourque is transfered better with the lighter driveshaft. In otherwords the weight reduction is not as benificial as the preformance gain.

Yes, Aluminum driveshaft,especially when used with Aluminum Flywheel, makes a difference you can feel as far as "in-gear throttle response" goes.Less rotating mass!

now as far as quality goes, how would it last in the long run? WOuld it be worth switching to aluminum?
