TV cable Geometry

Does anyone know if an Edelbrock carb's bottom hole on the bracket is the right geometry for the th700? I keep adjusting it and it never seems to be right on, it's always too hard or too soft. I tried using Transfixleo's method and the book method, but it just seems to be off stil.

There is a carb linkage adapter for edelbrock
(AFB) and another one for holley's to allow
the right geometry for the th700r4 TV cable.
Its made by Sonnax. May find it in the Edelbrock catalog. Otherwise get a trans shop to order you one. Sonnax # AS3-03K
