got a 86 iroc, started as a tpi car, but now its carb'd, the problem is when i put it in drive it doesnt move, or even try to move, and yes its full of fluid. There is 3 wires that go from the tranny into the main harness, they are green, tan/blk, and pink, what do these wires do?

 

Those connect to the 4th gear solenoid to lock up the torque converter - wouldn't have anything to do with the tranny slipping. With the carb swap, has the TV cable been reconnected properly, correcting the geometry so that it functions as it should? This is critical, if it's not correct the tranny can and will burn up fast.

 

ive got the tv cable adaptor installed, but for some reason i have no tranny line pressor?
