hi again......
still stuck w/the flywheel dilema.. i contacted a local parts retailer and they are having trouble coming up a flywheel match. does anyone know what other cars this flywheel was used on... its for an 86 305 tpi iroc. thanks i appreciate this!

oops im sorry that post was a little vague.. i mean do u know if the part was cross referenced w/any other car or trans.. such as maybe firebird... mustang. it needs to be a flywheel for a late model 305 w/ a one piece rear main seal. thanks!

Camaro/Firebird '86-up should all be one-piece rear main, 153 teeth. Mustang, no way.
Classic Industries offers p/n G7320 for 11" disk, $292 plus shipping. P/n G7321 is same for 10.5" clutch, $259. I'm not endorsing them, just know they have it. You should be able to get the same parts new from a dealer or a parts store, save shipping costs.
You should also be able to find a used part for much less, have it resurfaced for a reasonable price, save some money and have a perfectly servicable piece.
