How Much?

the camaro from hell is in the shop for a tranny this time. it had the 700r4 but im gettin the 350 put in. they told me the whole package with labor is about $1200.
that sound right, or am i gettin ripped off?

Just an opinion, but I'd think you'd have been better off putting the $1200 into the TH700. Now you're really going to pay - higher RPM, buzzier cruising; reduced fuel economy; degraded off-the-line performance; increased engine wear.

But, the tranny should last forever if properly built and maintained.

For a few hundred more they could have done the 700 which is the better choice IMO.
