Dana Rear end in a thirdgen??

Years ago GM used to have Dana 44's available in the Performance Parts Catalog. I've heard that after they were discontinued, SLP bought all the old stock.

8.5" ring gear also making it the strongest production and over the counter diff available in a third gen.
Good luck on finding one though but if you do and it's a good price then grab it. Don't forget that you can get a complete 9" or 12 bolt for around $2000. SLP might be selling the Dana44 for $1800.
