hey guys thanks for the feedback on all my other related questions like this but i have a couple more left then my tranny problem should be fixed. i can get my hands on a 84' z28 700r4 tranny with a shift kit and fresh rebuild in it for $80. i have a 89' f-bird with the 305 in it with a bad 700r4 tranny. can i make this swap? will everything fit? also if anyone can please tell me the proper lbs. of torque needed to tighten down the torque converter. thanks alot for the help

 

found out torque converter bolts should be tightened down to 46 ft pounds
