how much can they take?

how much hp and tourque can a stock 85' 700r4 and 10 bolt rear handle?

A 700r4 in good shape can handle up to 350 hp or so.

givin you have a decked out 700r4 and a 7.5 with the moser axles and eaton posi sure it will live, i see, hear and im sure all you read the posts on 700r4's taking sh*t's on stone stock 305's all the time.
