i am swapping out my old t5 for the new tremec t56 will my car be a dog now with the 2.95 first gear? My old t5 would wind up real quick i would have to shift real quick .
My rear gearing is 3:27 in a 9 bolt posi.
Also i am using the sphon cross member with the torque arm attached. any one use this setup?

 

I have the Spohn T56 crossmember with integral torque arm and I am very happy with it. I also have stock 3.23 gears (been like that for over a year). It's tricky to launch without bogging but it's not too bad. I have 3.73's waiting to be put in though. I always say that for a '94-up T56, 3.42's should be minimum.

 

what kind of shifter did you use mine did not come with a shifter handle?

 

I had the stock shifter for about 6 months before swithcing over to the Pro 5.0 shifter. If you don't have a shifter right now, get the Pro 5.0
