My transmission has been a pain lately. It keeps on slipping out of 4th gear, and when i give it gas sometimes it shifts back into over drive and is fine, as i get off 1/2 throttle though, to just a normal cruise speed it keeps slipping. Is this the solenoid? If it is does anyone know where its located at? Or if its even on the outside of the tranny, because its driving me nuts. And when it does this, it messes up my idle pretty badly, sometimes it will start making the surging through 600-700 instead of a constant idle, or it will make the idle higher than it should. I dont know much on the tv cable, other than my buddy tryed to do something with it to make it shifter sooner when i got the car, and i ended up loosing all gears accept for second, and the tranny shop just fixed the cable some how. My cable is worn though, not completely straight up like the pictures ive seen.
