700R4/BOP/Others speedo housing
So the 2" speedo housing used on cable driven 700R4, and BOP TH350s. Apparently there is two different sizes, one for a 34-39 tooth driven gear, and one for 40-45 tooth.
What is the difference??

Re: 700R4/BOP/Others speedo housing
In theory it's the size - but I never understood it. I swapped from 2.73 gears to 3.42 gears, and put in the correct speedo gears for the swap, and in theory I was supposed to use the other housing, but all mine fit just fine and I didn't swap speedo gear housings - but everyone else says they had to (I think they just did it and didn't try without it, where I was lazy and tight-a$$ed and just put it in the old housing).
Worst case scenerio - try it and see if it works without the 'other' housing - it's only another week and another crawl under the car if it doesn't.
