t56 swap almost done.. one question
I am almost done. Tranny is in, clutch is in and ect, but i cant get the torque arm on. Im going from a 700r to a t56, so the torque arm is susposed to be resuable, but i can not get this thing to bolt up. None of the holes are the same as the 700r. Can anyone help me with this??

I haven't got any idea where you'd buy one new. Maybe the dealer? It's just the metal bracket that wraps around the rubber torque arm bushing and bolts to the tail of the transmission. 700R4/4L60 have the bolts in a different pattern. The thirdgen T5 torque arm bracket looks close enough to me that it'll work. A 4th gen V6 T5 torque arm bracket might work too.

I dont really need a new one... the junkyard has an 86 camaro with a t5, ill see how much theyll take for the bracket. I already have a new polyurathane bushing, ill just swap it over. THanks homeslice
