Rear end removal question about bolts
I'll be dropping my rear in a few weeks and was wondering if anyone has the size of bolts that are most likely going to break off. MY car is not rust at all underneath but after over 20 years i'm thinking at least the main two will need to be cut. Id like to go to a fastner place and get some new ones that are commonly broken when dropping a rear.

if you get lucky, none will break. However, even if they dont break, you should replace them anyway because they are most likely rusting and swelling.
the big torque arm bolts are 5/8", forget the length. the lca bolts are 12mm, the panhard bolts are step bolts. You cant get those are a fastener store. Spohn sells all the bolts you need, maybe just order them from spohn and be done with it.

didnt notice you were in canadia, if you have to find them locally, the big torque arm bolts a 5/8, just measuer the length, you may not need to replace them. the control arm bolts are 12mm, again, just measure them, you can do so with them still on the car, and pick them up. be sure to get grade 8 or metric grade 10.9 for everything.
but still, the panhard bolts, if you need them, are stepbolts. Your going to have a really hard time finding them anywhere other than the dealer or spohn, or somewhere else online, if you are lucky.

your car looks clean so i don't think it should be a problem. I swapped rears on my car and all the bolts came off without a problem
