Transmission: Th350
Axle/Gears: 3.73's
I need a new rear end..

Right now I've got a welded rear with 3.73's, scares the **** outta me, but I've got a parts car with a bent axle, open diff, and 2.73's. I could just buy an axle and put this rear in my car and call it a day but I've got a friend with a wrecked 4th gen. His car is a 94 v6 5spd. I'm wondering where I could find the rpo codes to see what's in his rear(I know that sounded bad). I'm thinking with it being a 5spd v6, it's probably got better gears than my parts car. Is this probable?

Probable, yes. If the car is unmolested, the RPO's will be helpful; Even so, I'd pop the diff cover and take a peek. Also, there're other matters to perhaps consider, if your haven't already, such as combination valve, parking brake cable and speedo drive and/or driven gears.
