So i have a 1989 Trans Am GTA with the stock L89 TPI 350 and the stock TH-700R4. I honestly hate automatics, no offense. So what im wondering is what a good manual 5 or 6 speed would be. From what i hear the factory 5 speeds were junk, thats why my car has the 700r4. i was looking at putting an M22 in it, but ive decided against it. i also have been looking at the T-56 6 speed. but as far as i know from what ive heard the lt1 t-56 is electronically linked and therefore wont bolt right up to my L98. can someone clear this up and maybe tell me what i will need to put a t56 in my car. and what a good price for it would be? thanks a lot
