Re: New Torque COnverter
I'm pretty sure the 30 will work for you as long as you have the 88 trasmission in your car.

I'd like someone to back me up on that. I just upgraded my converter 2 days ago. I counted but have been so excited since then that I can't remember.

Re: New Torque COnverter
It is factory in an 88 Formula behind a 350... If anyone else can confirm that would be great. Where can I find a number on the tranny to confirm?

Re: New Torque COnverter
From my past experience, 88 and up 700r4's have the 30 spline and the older ones have 27 spline. I just got a 3500 lockup stall with 30 spline for my 88 IROCZ.

Thanks Mike. I knew there was a cutoff in years as far as 30 spline input shaft as well as auxillary piston in the valvebody. I just wasn't sure if it was 86 or 87.
