2.73 to 3.42 rear axle swap

Axle/Gears: 2.43 Gear Ratio
2.73 to 3.42 rear axle swap

I just bought a 3.42 complete rear to replace my 2.73 with. It came from a '97 Z28 with disc brakes. Comes with everything but proportional valves. My question is this, will this rear end simply bolt up to my exsisting setup or will I need to replace mounting brackets, driveshaft, master cylinder, or anything else? First time I've tackled an axle swap so I need to know what to get to do this job. Can't afford to have her just sitting there waiting on parts.

The rear is a straight bolt-in. The master and drive shaft are fine. Swap the combination valve for the first-design 1LE valve. You'll need the first-design parking brake cables and a change in speedo gears if you wish the speedo to read correctly. More info toward the bottom of the link below:
