2.73 to 3.42 rear axle swap
I just bought a 3.42 complete rear to replace my 2.73 with. It came from a '97 Z28 with disc brakes. Comes with everything but proportional valves. My question is this, will this rear end simply bolt up to my exsisting setup or will I need to replace mounting brackets, driveshaft, master cylinder, or anything else? First time I've tackled an axle swap so I need to know what to get to do this job. Can't afford to have her just sitting there waiting on parts.
