TransGo 700 2/3 vs SK700 Jr Shift Kits
Hey everyone, well getting my tranny rebuilt on tuesday and getting a shift kit put in also but whats the difference between the two kits? I was going to go with the 700 2/3 but should I just go with the SK700 JR? Thanks, Josh
Re: TransGo 700 2/3 vs SK700 Jr Shift Kits
The 700-2-3 is performance oriented, offers quicker 3-2 downshifts, and not concerned with smooth upshifts. It will hold manual low to any rpm, and backshift to any gear at any speed. The Junior offers smooth part throttle shifts. Both have the TV system fixed. I have been combining both kits for many years now, so that I get the smooth part throttle shifts along with quick WOT shifts. This will give you the longest transmission life. I do more than just combine the kits. I add the Corvette servo, Viton seals, large boost valves, torlon checkballs, governor and tcc filters, modified instructions, etc.
