I can find NO info on this? Are they out there? Where do I buy one? What does the stock one look like?

Its just a thin piece of metal that covers the hole between the bell housing where it bolts to the back of the block, and the bottom of the trans. Mines pretty tore up (and not on the car) but you get the idea.

He said block plate, and that about the only thing on a stock motor that comes even close to being described as a block plate (although it bolts to the trans not the block).
