I have a 92 car with a 96 T56 install by the previous owner... the clutch engages way too high for my liking, it engages about 1/2" from letting out the clutch all the way, so im going to make the master adjustable from a "how to" i found here..

my problem/question is this... i know how to remove the master.. but the slave seems weird. I know that its held in by those 2 bolts on the driver side in the trans tunnel... but when i removed those 2 bolts, the slave seems to push itself out, i went to remove it but it seems stuck or still attached to something in the bell housing...

what am i missing here? how do i remove this slave, also how does it reinstall? thanks for the help.

Should be just the 2 nuts and it will pop right out.

the rod off of the slave might be seized to the fork. But has stated, after those 2 bolts are removed, it should come out.

Just make sure you fork is in place and have the ball end of the slave rod on the fork, not much to it.
