I've been experiencing a weird noise which seems like its coming from the front of the trans or possibly the flywheel. Its most perdominant when the the car is cold and its put into gear, drive or reverse, and makes a noise that sounds like a clanking or slight knocking noise. When I first heard the noise I thought it was my front brakes making a grinding noise but later the noise got louder and found that it was coming from somewhere around the trans. Also I can feel a slight vibration when deccelarating around 35. The noise never gets progressivly louder but it does come and go at different times. Could it be the flexplate coming loose from the convertor or could the noise be coming from the convertor itself? The flywheel is brand new and sfi approved and couldn't have more than 100 miles on it. Please any info would be helpful. Thanks
