Which route?

First off im new to this forum and to older style vehicles. That said i have the opportunity to purchase an '82 z28 for 1500. It has a 305 in it now with a T4 Borgwarner 4 speed manual. Im getting an additional '94 350 and a '90 TH 700 R4. Ive already decided on a .30 over to 383 with carbs but would prefer a 5 speed manual tranny. However the problem seems to be "what tranny?" Anyone know some 5 speeds that will bolt to a '94 350 and fit in an 82 camaro and if any slight mods would be required to do so? Im not looking to do any extreme extra work to make it fit.

Re: Which route?

You'll probably break a stock T5, and the next cheapest option isn't cheap. Doing a used T56 from a '94.5-'97 Z28 is the strongest for the cheapest.
