i recently swapped trannys and my old speedo was a plastic gear driven sensor and the new one is a magnet pickup style(not sure what that's called). any way the car isn't reading it correctly and thinks its going 100mph as soon as i take my foot of the brake. it took me two weeks to figure out why my car was dieing as soon as i took my foot off the brake lol it was the governor. so how do i get it to read right. the new tranny was out a 92 blazer. is there a conversion or something out there i can get?
