I noticed that my transmission acted up for the first time in 5 yrs,the other day I posted trans acting up,and found it could be a number of reasons why when I manually go through the gears when I let off the gas it coast-1,2,3,-overdrive seems ok,then I was reading that my over-run clutch could be fried,now today I changed filter ,fluid,and surprisingly nothing in pan,just some fine particals on the magnet,,,now I know what it might be,and to leave it in drive,or overdrive when driving,but can I do this for awhile ,I downshifted in 2nd at 35,and taped the gas and it engaged,thought I lost the driveshaft,it grabed,so can I drive this trans for awhile and just dont downshift,
