Background: Mild 350 TPI motor, 200-4r tranny, 87' Monte, 3:42 gears. Stock TPI cables, 200-4r was rebuilt right before TPI swap in 02', shifts fine normal driving. The 350 swap, TPI and 3.42's were added post tranny work. It previously was a LG4/3.08 car.

Issue: Under WOT the 1-2 shift will hang, it starts the shift at a good RPM range (5000?) but won't complete the shift for what seems like much too long. Could this be a governor issue? I plan to call the tranny builder this week and explain the situation to him, maybe have him look at it first hand if need be (is over an hour away in Illinois).
