T-5 swap question
So today I put the tranny up and cut a hole for the shifter. When I tightened up the crossmember bolts the shifter housing is sitting above the floor pan about 1/2" to 1". Is that normal?

Re: T-5 swap question
Yup, that's what it'll do, in an auto tunnel. A stick-shift floor pan has a kind of a lump for it.
Doesn't too much matter though, the big thick rubber boot you got with it, should stretch enough to go over it easily. The stick tunnel also has a nice flat-ish place for that to fasten to.
