PN 8760-00 From Summit racing
Not in an Fbody but designed to fit one.
Thought Id share.
-38 lbs not light
-If running a 7 qt pan the drain bolt allllmost clears. Did a little grinding
-Use bolts 1/4 in shorter than what you have. Used a 12 pt 3/8 head with A.N. size washer, reg one hits.
-Holes for block dowels were a touch tight not bad. Cartridge roll took care of it in no time.
-So far everything seems to fit ok, keep ya posted.
-Very nice piece, no dialing in needed. Bolt on and go.
-Extra bolt holes in top give more options to clamp wires, grounds etc.
-hated spending the money but will be running up over 7k on a reg basis. Legal for the track and my feets are safe now. Block protector is a nice thing too.
Now lets hope the fixed (again) trans is ok
anyways for those of you guys wondering about it here it is....spoke with the rep at McCleod, again its a bolt in item for you guys.
Getting at the oil filer will be a touch tougher and in my case if I need to change the starter the motor will have to come out. Tuned headers.....NOT worth it!

Re: T56 Scattershield (pics)
Finished!
Still have to fill the outside holes with bolts/nuts..once I know all works right that would get done. Keeps pieces from pushing out between the block protector plate and the shield in case of a faillure btw
all the holes on the flange on top give room to attach ground wires, looms etc.
This fits better than the stock one and gives more clearance if you can believe that.
Very nice piece everything was a precise fit....I mean perfect (Im picky!)
now for the roads to dry out to make sure clutch releases right spot trans works etc.
So far guys if youre contemplaing buying one Id say well worth the money.
Bolt in and go no "setting up" needed.
Best part is youre safe in case of a clutch/flywheel failure and track legal.
