So I got line on a T56 tranny out of a LT1 Corvette. Will this work for my 92 Camaro? No worries on the pedals car came with a manual tranny stock. I know I'll need the LT flywheel, LT starter and the cross member from sphon. Just curious if there is a difference between the T56 that came in a 4th gen Camaro and a C4 vette. Thanks for the help.

I can't say about the T56 but I do recall when the T5's were used I believe the Corvettes and F-bodies are the only ones that were the same due to the shifter location.

 

AFAIK that's not a T-56; it's a ZF.

If so, then no, it won't fit, unless you get one of the bell housings that were used in Firehawks with those. Good luck finding one.

The T-5 never came in Corvettes so that's not an issue.
