700r4 and 200r torque arm same?

Are the torque arms from the 82 and 83 the same as the torque arms for 84 through 92?
Thanks

They're longer. Probably just under 3" longer but don't quote me.

Be aware that there are 3 transmissions called "200":
  • The original 200 from the late 70s
  • The 200C, such as was used in these cars in 82, basically a 200 w/ a TCC but has some other internal detail differences as well
  • The 200-4R (not the same model number style as the 700-R4), never used in these cars except for the TTA, and quite a bit different from the earlier 200s
It's a REAL GOOD IDEA to keep them un-confused, as they ARE NOT the same transmission at all.

And as said, ALL of them are shorter than the 700/4L60 series, therefore the stock TA for them is longer.

Ah thank you. This was the answer I was looking for. This has been very helpful.
