FLYWHEEL HELP
i am doing a five speed swap on a 86 5.0 tpi.
i got most of my parts including the flywheel off an 85 iroc with a 5.0 carb.
the problem is the flywheel that i got has too big of a bolt pattern for where the driveplate once was.
does anyone know what type of flywheel or what dimensions would work on this?
thanks

Re: FLYWHEEL HELP
85-back has the 2-piece rear main seal; 86-up is the 1-piece. The back of the crank is different.
TO fit your 86 motor, you need the 86-up version of that flywheel. 86-92 V8 T-5. It'll be exactly the same except different. You'll find that there are 2; one weighed about 22 lbs and was used on the low-perf LG4 and L03 in those years, the other is about 16 lbs and was used on LB9. You probably will want the light one.
