Transmission needs ??? If it is even the trans
Recently I swapped to a non-cc carb and vacuum advance distributor. the only problem I have been noticing since the swap is hard shifting and over revving. That is unless I floor it then it shifts like normal, is there something on the auto transmission that can be tuned to reflect the changes, so I do not have to race the engine everywhere to get it to shift?

By changing the Carb and such, your TV cable probably came out of adjustment. It controls downshifts/part throttle shift points/line pressure/etc and mounts to your throttle.
If this is out of adjustment, DO NOT DRIVE!!! STOP!! It WILL burn up the transmission.
Heres how to correctly adjust it:

Did you get a geometry corrector for the TV cable connection to your carb? If not, you need one - summit sells as well as jegs.
A change in the angle of the TV cable connection with the carb can greatly affect the pull on it (the geometry), and thus you really need a corrector that attaches to the carb linkage to keep the cable at the right angle. These trannies are very sensitive, and the TV cable is crucial to be correct, otherwise the tranny can go out in as little as a few miles.

Thank you very much I checked the TV and lo and behold it was loose. I secured it and the transmission is back to somewhat normal I will adjust it better once I have the tools to do so thank you very much for all your assistance.
