im trying to find a decent torque converter to replace my stock one i have a 350 bored .20 over, ported and polished 416 heads, edlebrock performer intake, steel crank,2 bolt main,750 q-jet i am unsure of the cam in it now plan on putting in a gear drive and lunati 00010 cam Advertised Duration (Int/Exh): 292/292
Duration @ .050 (Int/Exh): 230/230
Gross Valve Lift (Int/Exh): .480/.480
LSA/ICL: 109/107
Valve Lash (Int/Exh): Hyd/Hyd
RPM Range: 2000-6000
i have a stock 700r4 with a trans go shift kit and the rear end gears i am unsure...the car is an 84 firebird originally v6 now i v8 i also plan on changing out the rear end but that can wait for now can't it?

im looking not to break the bank on this converter just enough for it to hold up to the cam when i put it in..

You have limited options. Your probably looking at a 12 inch street converter thats loosened up. It will give you a range of 2500-2800 stall. I have sold quite a few to members here with combo's like yours. I sell them at $249.

If you wanted to get a 10 inch it will be a better choice with 3000-3200 stall but the price more than doubles.

 

how much for shipping to canada and do you take credit card? lol the guy doin the tranny work is also gonna do some pricing for me im still trying to figure out if my rear end is posi or not..i dont think v6's ever came posi..but some people said it did otherwise ill be changing the gears out as well
