i have a 700R4 behind my 434 shafiroff motor in my 88' and it held up to 652hp at the wheels for 4 years. i had it freshened up last year because the 3-4 clutch pack was just starting to wear causing a delayed 3 4 upshift. all the hard parts inside the trans have been replaced with parts i got from transmissioncenter.net. this year we should be puttin' 800hp to the ground with 2 stages....so i guess this will be the TRUE test to see if it holds up to what we throw at it.

does a 91 z28 305 tpi auto have the 700r4 stock or is it another trans ? and if i put a turbo 350 trans in do i need a new computer?
