Just curious-rpm

i have an 83z28, for anyone with the same t5, what rpm are you running at 65mph in 5th gear?

well i have a 87 with a 5spd and at 65 i am running at the halfway mark between 1500 and 2000 mostly i am at about 1500rpm

yea, at 65 mph i run at 3500 rpm, im definitely thinking the guy who had the car before me must have put 5.30's or something in it

No; more likely that trim option thing in your dash that moves around when engine speed changes, has failed the way they always do, which is, they read high. Sometimes REAL high. I have a handful of them, at least one of them reads over twice the actual frequency.
