what convertor stall to go with???

what convertor stall to go with???
so my hunt for a t-5 trans has come to an end and im goin to rebuild a th-350 i had gotten from a friend of mine for nothing it came out of a truck and i beleive its a non lock up i dont see any connecter plugs on the transmission. so now i was woundering what convertor stall would be good to go with. The car will be a weekend cruzer here are the specs.
350 vortec
edlbrock air gap intake
650 holley dlb pumper
gm roller hotcam
shorty headers
3:73 posi
16-17" wheels.

Mine stalls at about 2200, I like it. Alot of folks run a 2400. I wouldn't go higher than 3000 for a street driven car.

3000 would work really well. If you want the most out of it, 3400-3600 would give a bit more snap if you have a sticky tire to handle it. Goodluck! I am in the category of, "even a stock engine needs a 3000 stall" Haha

i was thinking of goin with around 2500-2800 stall i wont be on the track alot maybe aftersome up grades to see how it dose thats about it but mainly a street cruzer. but who knows my plan may change again for the motor lol.

The GM hotcam would work great for drag racing with a 4000 stall. 3500 would be really fun on the street. 3000 would be an absolute minimum. A stock cam works good with 2800 stall. The hotcam is nowhere near stock. its as aggressive as a CC305 from comp cams and needs aggressive stall speed so it doesn't feel like a sluggish turd from a dead stop.
