Every time I drop the clutch in first gear, or shift to second gear, and drop the clutch again, the stick shifter jumps upwards, which would be the transmission. If I shift smoothly and ease the clutch out easily, it doesn't do that.

I crawled under the other day but the transmission was perfectly bolted up. Isn't there a rubber and metal brace that holds the tranny from the bottom? If so, I don't think I saw one.

I recently had a new clutch put in 2 months ago, the problem started 2 weeks ago.

Any thoughts? I don't think the tranny is going bad, It still shifts smoothly without grinding gears.

Re: Transmission jumping upwards
Your rear trans mount is more than likely broken. You can use a floor jack under the trans pan and GENTLY jack the trans upward, you should see where the mount is broken or even missing bolts. Good luck
