wc t5 grind out of neutral

Hey everyone this is the third tyranny I've gone through because of people on Craigslist selling bad trannys. Ok so I have a semi new clutch and throwout bearing and this is a wc t5 out of a camaro I've never powershifted or down shifted at a very high rpm but I do drive spirited sometimes and flex a v8 but the other day I put it in first and made a turn and the house I was pulling up to was right there, so iwas doing maybe 2200 rpm pushed in the clutch and pulled it into neutral and I could hear a grinding sound now I'm worried and just want to put in a 700r4 just not to worry about it anymore please help

Re: wc t5 grind out of neutral

My T-5 has a similiar problem, but it's less of a grind, more like a supercharger whine. Reason for is that is either the input shaft bearing or throwout bearing.

My opinion, drive it into the ground and buy a T56.
